AUSTIN, TX (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY) - Lovely family in Zilker is seeking a FULL-TIME LIVE-OUT NANNY/HOUSEHOLD MANAGER for their 9-year-old twin girls and 12-year-old son. This family is seeking a candidate who is a go-getter, happy to jump in and help, comfortable driving children and family members and is willing to grow with them for years to come.
The family is flexible with the hours and the right fit. An example schedule would be Monday - Friday, 6:30 am to 10:30 am, and then 3 pm - 6 pm. Flexibility for occasional weekends and date nights is a must. Summer hours will be subject to change as the kids will be out of school.
Duties include kitchen cleaning dishes, loading and unloading the dishwasher, wiping counters, picking up after the children, and managing the family schedule. Cooking is a bonus, and any knowledge of vegetarian meals is a huge plus. Other duties include keeping track of the mental load of the house, updating the family chart on the wall, and managing and communicating school emails.
The 86-year-old grandmother is 2 doors down. The family would like a candidate who is comfortable taking her to the grocery store and driving her places on occasion. The family will provide a minivan for work-related errands.
Candidates who are bilingual in either French, Italian, or Spanish are a huge bonus! Having a background in education is also a plus. The family has a pool and the candidate should be comfortable around water and have a keen knowledge of swim safety.
The family prefers fully vaccinated candidates. Benefits include PTO. Start date is ASAP. Pay is $25-35/hr gross.
Qualifications:
CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed)
Ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position
A passion for working with children
Two+ years childcare experience
Excellent work and personal references
U.S. driver's license (this does not apply to NYC residents)
Complete Stop the Silence Training upon Membership
Competent swimmer
Non-smoker
Willing to go through extensive Background Check
Must be Live-Scanned and registered with Trustline if CA resident
Willingness to show proof of immunizations
No-cell phone driving signed guarantee
Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
